SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)

Malware often exploits vulnerabilities within outdated applications to infect a system. Always keep your system up-to-date to prevent exploits and reduce the risk of infection.

Please follow the below steps to configure SCCM on your device

Step 1: Check if SCCM is running on your device

Open Task Manager -> go to Details tab -> Look for CcmExec.exe

If you can not find CcmExec.exe, please check with your IT administrator to fix it.

Step 2: Install all missing patches on your device

  • On Windows device, open Windows Start menu, look for Microsoft System Center, click on Software Center

  • Go to Updates tab

  • Click Install All to install all missing patches

  • Restart your machine if requested

Step 3: Re-scan your device's compliance

  • Right click the "OPSWAT Client" tray icon, click "Recheck" to enforce the agent scan device compliance data and report to the MetaAccess servers again. Note that if you are running an old agent version, you should click "Check applications security" and "Check for OS updates"
