You can reduce the number of false positives by:
Choosing not to consider a file as a threat until it is detected by more than 1 anti-malware engine. While the default is 1 anti-malware engine, you can select up to the number of engines MetaAccess supports. This would mean that you would not be notified of any threat unless it had been detected by multiple anti-malware engines and would thereby reduce the number of false positives you would potentially receive.
Another option is to reduce the number of anti-malware engines selected for your threat detection. You can select from all available engines. The higher the number of engines selected increases the possibility of seeing false positives.
